Student Accomplishments:
Maxine Martin attributes $3,000 win to RSE teachings

RSE student Maxine Martin used the training of focus learned at RSE in winning $3,000 in a WA Lottery Scratch Ticket.
Here is Maxine’s story in her own words:

“Last year I really wanted to attend the summer Celebration with Ramtha, but I could not afford it. Every time the e-mail came in about it, I would say to my God, “I just want to be at the feast with Ramtha,” look at the e-mail for a while, then go about my day.

The feast was scheduled for earlier in July but got postponed to July 21st.
On the morning of Thursday July 19th, I got off work around 7:30 AM and, having worked a double shift, a swing and night shift back to back, was really tired and a little impatient as I just wanted to get home and go to bed. I had promised my friend I would stop by 4 Corners Grocery to get her lotto tickets for her, and as I walked by the vending machine with scratch tickets I tried to buy one, but the machine would not work, so I got more impatient. When I got to the cash register, I pointed at and bought a scratch ticket for $2. Understand that I would not have stopped at all if I hadn’t promised my friend I’d get her tickets and winning was not on my mind, just getting to bed was the only focus on my frontal lobe.

I still had to go and buy a part for my truck before I could get home to bed. While waiting for this part, and to stop myself from falling asleep, I decided to scratch my scratch ticket. The first number was 3, so I thought, “well at least I made a dollar.”

I kept scratching and finally saw it was $3,000.

I sat up straight in my truck and read the instructions over and over and over again. On my way home I stopped by my friend’s house, gave her the ticket and asked her to tell me what it said because I needed a reality check to register it. She looked at it and said “you won $3,000.”

I had always thought about going to the Celebration with my best friend and gifting it to her, and was able to tell her then that we were going. I ended up gifting the feast to my 2 best friends. I told Ramtha the story at the feast, and he said, “You always get what you want when you are that clean.”

The interesting thing is that if the feast had taken place on the original date I would not have been there.”

Note:
– In the last 365 days, the total of all lotto and scratch winnings in the 98597 zip code was $118,000. Of that amount, RSE students Barbara and Clare Wade, Patricia Everheart, Heather Singleton, and Maxine Martin won collectively $43,000. This represents 36% of the $118,000 won in the Yelm area.
