Alison Baker:
“Attending the Feb., 2013 Advanced Retreat saved my life!”

RSE student Alison Baker learned reports her experience from learning that “Ramtha mentioned that what we had been taught didn’t just apply to the lottery and the casino, but could be used to foresee a catastrophic event before it happened and that what we learned could save our lives,” as she experienced. Here is Alison’s story in her own words:

“Approximately 2 years prior to the February, 2013 Advanced Retreat, I had installed two 1,000 gallon propane tanks along with new pipes, valves and fittings to my home. At the same time, I also installed a new propane stove and a new on-demand hot water heater.

In February, 2013, I chose to stream the Advanced Retreat. About half way through the event in the evening after the teachings had concluded, I went into the kitchen to get a snack before going to bed. As soon as I entered into the kitchen, the thought would come to me that I had a gas leak in my home. This thought reoccurred every evening until the conclusion of the event.

Each night immediately after the thought, I would check with my roommate, but neither of us would smell any gas in the kitchen. The conversation would eventually end with statements such as, “How could we have a leak? The tanks, pipes, valves and fittings were brand new. It just couldn’t be…”

During the closing remarks of the event, Ramtha mentioned that what we had been taught didn’t just apply to the lottery and the casino, but could be used to foresee a catastrophic event before it happened and that what we learned could save our lives. As I remember it, he actually gave the example of having a gas leak in our home.

Hearing Ramtha’s closing remarks was all that it took for me to act. After the event, I immediately contacted a propane company that had a mechanic on staff that was an expert at checking for propane leaks. When he arrived, he asked how long the system had been installed and had we smelled any odor? The mechanic then said that statistically it was highly unlikely that we had a leak, but that he was a Vietnam Veteran and had learned to respect “hunches”, especially if it came from a woman.

The minute that he unhooked the gas fitting that went into the house he was able to determine that we had a very large leak. He then spent over three hours searching for the leak, but was unable to find it. The propane system was red flagged for the state inspector and the gas was unhooked. The mechanic recommended I use a local contractor to search for the leak. Once the leak had been located and repaired, he would come back and re-inspect the system and report back to the state.

I decided to hire Aaron Danner, Cozy Home Improvements LLC, a fellow student at RSE, to complete the testing. After a full day of testing every inch of the propane system, Aaron located a large leak in a cast iron fitting in the garage. He determined that the leak was quite large and had clearly been there for a while. Aaron concluded, that one simple flip of the light switch in the garage, had the potential to set off an explosion.”
