The remaining 7 mugs were auctioned to this event’s students and all were sold netting a collective $1,380 donated to IBRRC in Jay’s honor.

“The picture above is from a card I drew during the gulf spill last year. People kept asking me about it and it became a point of interest. ”

“During the Deep Water Horizon spill I had the responsibility of overseeing the rehabilitation of the oiled birds in Louisiana. It was an overwhelming situation influenced by politics and agendas. I used what I had been taught at RSE about the value of making a card for daily focus. This card hung over my desk and attracted everyone’s attention as its message was clear.”

– Remote-View exercise
Students were asked to focus on a large unmarked manila envelope and then draw their impressions on paper. Over 300 students at the Yelm campus and nearly 150 more online participated in the remote-viewing exercise. The content of the envelope revealed the “12th Man” and the logo of the Seattle Seahawks football team. Over two dozen students recorded a matching drawing or description.
Seahawks fans are known collectively as the “12th Man” and have set numerous international stadium sound records. Read more
